The information and software at dakaarpos.com are provided for general business use. This disclaimer outlines the limits of what Dakaar POS is, and is not, responsible for.
1. No tax or legal advice
Dakaar POS implements GST calculation, billing formats, and audit features intended to help restaurants comply with Indian tax law. Nothing on the website or in the application constitutes tax advice, legal advice, or accounting advice. You remain responsible for engaging a chartered accountant or auditor to confirm that your filings are correct.
2. Operational data accuracy
The Service computes totals, taxes, discounts and reports based on data the Customer enters and the configuration the Customer chooses. The Operator is not liable for inaccuracies in financial reporting that result from incorrect prices, GST percentages, rate selections, or other configuration set by the Customer.
3. No warranty of fitness
While the Service is designed for restaurants in India, it may not suit every operating model (very large kitchens, multi-tenant cloud kitchens, hotel banquet workflows, etc.). The 7-day free trial is provided so the Customer can evaluate fitness before committing.
4. Third-party services
The Service integrates with or links to third-party services (Razorpay for payments, Hostinger for email, optional online aggregator brands such as Swiggy and Zomato as labels only). The Operator does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their service levels, data handling, or commercial decisions.
5. Hardware and operating environment
The Customer is responsible for their own PC, operating system, thermal printers, internet connection, and uninterrupted power supply. Issues caused by hardware failure, OS updates, antivirus interference, or unstable internet are outside the Operator's control.
6. Backup
The Service stores all operational data on the Customer's local PC. The Customer is solely responsible for backing up this data. The Operator does not maintain a copy and cannot restore data lost due to disk failure, accidental deletion, malware, theft, or fire.
7. Brand mentions
References to third-party brands such as Razorpay, Swiggy, Zomato, Windows, or any thermal printer manufacturer are made for descriptive purposes only. No affiliation, endorsement or partnership is claimed unless explicitly stated.
8. Forward-looking statements
Roadmap items, planned features, and pricing referenced anywhere on the website may change. Final commitments are made only inside the active Terms of Service and your in-product subscription details.
9. Limitation of liability
For the avoidance of doubt, the limitations of liability set out in the Terms of Service apply equally to anything mentioned on this page.
