Dakaar POS started with a simple observation: most restaurant POS software in India is built cloud-first, which means it stops working the moment the internet does — usually in the middle of dinner rush. And on top of unreliable software, many vendors charge a commission on every bill you print.

We took the opposite approach. Dakaar POS runs entirely on your own Windows PC. Your menu, your orders, your reports — everything lives in a local database that you own. The internet is only needed once, to activate your license, and for an optional cloud dashboard if you want to watch live sales from home.

We charge one flat annual price. No per-bill fees, no transaction percentages, no hidden charges. Your data is stored in a standard SQLite file with automatic backups to your own OneDrive folder — if you ever leave, your data goes with you.
